SB-789Neutral Non-Corrosive Industrial Silicone is a high performance, one component adhesive/sealant formulated for industrial and electrical applications. SB-789 remains permanently flexible, and exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.SB-789 suitable for gasketing application in gear box, engineand other industrial application. Good resistance with gasoline,engine oil, gear oil & water.

SB-789 Neutral Non-Corrosive Industrial Silicone is supplied ready-to-use. Under pressure it flows readily from its container. The paste-like consistency makes it easy to work; a spatula or wooden paddle can be used for tooling the surface.
The cure progresses inward from the surface. At conditions of atleast 72°F (22°C) and 50 percent relative humidity, the sealantforms a tack-free skin in 30 minutes. Tooling is not practicalafter this skin forming begins and should be completed within5-10 minutes of application, even though this may requirealternate periods of applying and tooling. Likewise, if maskingtape has been used to mark off an area, it should be removedbefore the skin forms.STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
When stored in the original unopened containers at or below80°F (27°C), SB-789 has a shelf life of 12 months from date ofmanufacturing.

application:
- surface must be clean and dry
- mask smooth surface to simplify clean up
- use approved back-up material in joint.

- clean off excess sealant with m. E. K. Or toluene
gp-100 will tack free in approximately 5 minutes and will cure to a depth of 3mm in 24 hours. Longer curing time may be necessary in dry and low humidity area.
